everyone group has deny permissions set

Hi Guys

A folder on my w2k server is not accessable by anyone
including the administrator.

My guess is that it has been set with deny permissions
for the everyone group.

have tried taking ownership, didn't help maybe because
administrator is also in the everyone group

Is there a way to resolve this?
get around this?

would appreciate any input.

CACLS <foldername> /G Administrators:F

I also tried to set up a folder that deny permissions to Everyone, and as
Administrator, I just opened its property page from Explorer, set up new
ACLs, and it was fixed.
