everyone group has deny permissions

Hi Guys

A folder on my w2k server is not accessable by anyone
including the administrator.

My guess is that it has been set with deny permissions
for the everyone group.
have tried taking ownership, didnt work
maybe bacause Administrator is also in the everyone group


Is there a way to resolve this?
get around this?

would appreciate any input.

If you are a local admin, then you have the implied irrevocable right to
take ownership of local file system objects. It's as simple as that, so
something else must be going on here.

Exactly how are you trying to take ownership? What's happening and/or
what messages are you getting?
