Event Log Service Error Messages

Computer freezes constantly. Receive same Event Log
Errors: Event Log 7000, Service Control Manager: The
PFModNT service failed. System cannot find file. The
other is Event Log 2511, Server, Unable to recreate the
share Lisa's Music because directory D:\My Music\Lisa's
Music no longer exists. D Drive has been wiped after info
was transfered to new C drive when the computer was
completely redone. Any ideas as to what these errors
mean and how to fix them if they are causing the freezes?

Thanks

1) PfModNT.SYS is: "PCI/ISA Device Info. Service" a kernal driver.
normally in %systemroot%\system32\ and appears to be a W2K, SP0
file. Here it is set as AUTO and runs always. I don't know much
more about it.

2) The SHARE is still in the registry but the physical location has
been removed. Error. One should un-share before deletion. You can
try (IIRC) NET SHARE sharename /D
Otherwise it's a registry edit.

A bit more (via Google): Seems to be some connection with some
SoundBlaster cards and software...

Shows in Device Manager (show hidden) as "Non-Plug and Play Drivers"
