Computer freezes, event log service errors

Rebuilt computer. Very little installed other than
Windows, printer, Word. Computer constantly freezes and
needs a reboot. Frustrated. Took off Norton Antivirus.
Appeared to work better; installed another. Problems
still exist but are less without antivirus program. Got
curious, went into Event Log Service. Have 1000+ of same
error (happens when freeze occurs). Major errors are with
the Service Control Mgr (The PFModNT service failed,
cannot find file & Server Error (Unable to recreate the
share Lisa's Music because directory D:My Music\etc. no
longer exists. The D Drive was used to transfer data and
wiped. Any ideas on how to remedy these errors - they
appear to happen every time the computer freezes? Freezes
occur at different intervals.

PFModNT is creative Soundblaster or Audigy shite.

I recommend you dump Creative products, I always had problems with theyre
drivers.

I had PFModNT problems also, waste of time using theyre hardware. Let the
Toms Hardware homepage people use Creative. Its designed for them not real
users :D
