Etrust services will not start

Hi, folks -

My etrust services will not start on my dual boot XP machine. I have gone
into administrative tools and attempted to start these services:

Etrust antivirus Job server [error 5: access denied]
Etrust antivirus realtime server [Error 5: access denied]
Etrust Antivirus RPC Server [Error 5: access denied]

Unable to add etrust as when I attempt to load it, it installs partly and
gives this error: 1305 Error reading file d:\program\files\etrust\\etrust
antivirus.msi

I have done chkdsk /r and am awaiting to do an sfc /scannow as time permits.

How does one fix these services above?

thanks

Is the system already infected? Have you contacted Computer Associates for
help with their program?

Hi, Rock, I don't believe it is infected. I may try a reg. restore and see if
that works.

thanks
