ERROR "The Target Principal Name is Incorrect"

I'm having a problem with a domain controller.

A while back, we were using software mirroring and had a problem. We had to
replace a hard drive and recreate the mirror. I don't know if this is
relevent but the problem happened shortly afterwards.

Since then, when bringing up active directory users and computers, I get the
error "The Target Principal Name is Incorrect". This also comes up when I'm
trying to connect to a share on the computer from another machine.

I found Article 830069 which suggested doing an NLTEST in order to resolve
the problem. This failed. Another article 260889 describes what occurs when
I try NLTEST. I get "I_netlogonControl Failed: Status=1311 0x51f
ERROR_NO_LOGON_SERVERS".

I'm not sure what to try next.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Gary
