I cannot open the directory of users because I get the error that says that the Taregt Principal Name is iscorrect. In conjunction with this I get errors in my event log.

event id 1000
event id 5504
event id 13562

I cant even connect to domain controller in active directory because the target principal name is incorrect.

Please Help!!!

13562 - FRS problems:
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=13562&source

5504 errors are more than likely an invalid character, such as an underscore
or a space in a name:
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=5504
Look at the offending IP and take a close look at the name

1000 Userenv errors are mostly due to using your ISP's DNS server addresses
in your IP properties. In AD this is a no-no. Should only use the internal
DNS only. Set a forwarder for efficient Internet resolution.

Also, what can cause issues if your AD name is a single label name with SP4
installed.

If you need more info, suggest to post an ipconfig /all (undedited please)
of your DC and a client machine to help us diagnose this further.

Thanks

Well, that link didn't pan out. It's nice to use Tinyurl, but when providing
a link that needs a session cookie, or any other variable, such as this
site, you'll get an error and it won't come up.

The error I got when I went to your link (which is actually):
http://www.netpro.com/forum/fterror.cfm?fterrorcode=100)

The page you were accessing requires variables to be passed to it.
Error Code: 100

I usually use TinyURL if the link will wrap multi lines. I'm assuming
the original link wrapped, since the error I got was probably from their
main page.
