error messages

IE keeps shutting down on me with this error in the logs:

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module
ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x000118c5.

I've also been getting blue screens with this error:

DCOM got error "The service database is locked. " attempting to start the
service netman with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{BA126AE5-2166-11D1-B1D0-00805FC1270E}

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks,

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW

Ok I tried it. It asked me for my windows disk and verified protection, I
guess. We'll see if that helps. Thanks,
