Error messages - please help

My computer keeps shutting down. I have noted the error messages below - can
anyone help me please?
27 September 2006 atapi The device, \Device\Ide\IdePort1, did not respond
within the timeout period.
27 September 2006 Dhcp The IP address lease ***.***.*.* for the Network Card
with network address 000********* has been denied by the DHCP server 0.0.0.0
(The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).
27 September 2006 Service Control Manager The IPSEC Services service
terminated with the following error: The attempted operation is not supported
for the type of object referenced.

I have dleted the IP address and the network address...am I right to do this
for security purposes?

When does it shut down? What is the mechanism? Does it give an error, or
blue screen or just shuts off randomly? Does this happen in safe mode?
How long from a clean restart does this happen? Does it only happen in
certain programs? What happens when it shuts down - does it restart
automatically? If not and you restart it does it start right up? What's
the malware status of the computer? How do you check for it?

In System Properties change it to not automatically restart on failure.
Right click My Computer | Properties | Startup and Recovery Settings. If it
now gives an error message on shutdown post that.

Is this a laptop or desktop? Have you blown out the dust and made sure the
fans are working properly and clean?

IDE Port 1 would imply the secondary IDE channel (Primary IDE is I
believe IDE Port 0) and that indicates a problem with the CDROM/DVD or
whatever device you have connected to this channel.
