ddcyy.exe and mkrlbvmu.dll errors

at startup i'm getting three error messages. the first two indicate a
problem with C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddcyy.exe. and the third error message says
there is an error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\mkrlbvmu.dll.

I've searched nearly all the forums on microsoft.com and find NOTHING
related to these error messages. Doing a google search returns hits that
indicate that these are virus related messages. I've run NORTON Internet
Security 2007, Adaware, Spybot, Defender and none of them detect--and more
importantly--correct this problem. Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks

Some malware was removed by NIS 2007, but the reference to the files was
not removed from the registry.

Click Start, Run, type REGEDIT, click OK. Press the Home key, press F3,
type the name of the file into the search pane. Click "Find Next", and
when located, delete the reference to the file. Press F3 to continue
the search.

You can click File, Export, and save the entry to the Desktop. If you
remove it and there's a problem, double-click the .reg file you exported
to the Desktop and it'll be added to the registry again. You can create
a restore point before editing the registry too.

ddcyy.exe and mkrlbvmu.dll errors

elmo, thanks for your quick reply. here's a followup, if i don't change
anything, would there be any existing vulnerabilities to my computer? the
virus scans i'm running find nothing wrong with my computer. why exactly
does this message continue to show up? i'm reluctant to mess with the
registry, i've heard this can cause big problems if i screw it up. i will if
i absolutely need to, but want to know if continuing to ignore these error
messages will do any harm. thanks in advance.

NIS apparently deleted the files, but not the references that actually
loaded the files. You can leave it like that, but my instructions are
complete, the two methods mentioned to back up beforehand should leave
you options.. it's up to you, if you want three error messages at each
startup, let it happen.

Be warned, the site in the link I've removed above hosts some very nasty
porno created by pcbutts. You should never trust a porno site when it
comes to your computer. There is nothing on that filthy site that you
can't get from ethical sites that are not a risk to your computer.

Tools from that site are know (according to pcbutts) to block access to
reputable anti-malware sites and services.

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS 1.COM
that create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a
look at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
http://forums.speedguide.net/archive/index.php/t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
'exposed to kids'.
