Hi-

I have a couple of software CD programs that can't install itself after its
download. So, I get an error that says, "Director Player 6.0. This program
requires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run." And yet, I have lots
of MB space on my Local Disc {C:} What exactly could it be?

Thanks for your help in advance.

You might want to take a look on the tech support page of the
company that made those programs. For instance, a Google search
yielded these articles:

http://www.mindscape.co.uk/techsupport/SolveProblem.asp?page=5&cid=0&pid=0

http://www.epgtech.com/faqs/School/buggles.html#3_MB

Good luck

Nepatsfan-

Thank you very much for your help. I am definitely learning something all
brand-new (about Windows XP Virtual Memory) tonight.

Everytime I print I get a message saying I don't have enough space on my
drive. I just click ok and go on. It was a bit of a annoyance at first but
now I just figure when I print I click ok in the upper left hand corner of my
screen when that message box appears. No biggie but as I learn more I'll
learn how to get rid of that. Oh and I know I have lots of space on my hard
drive. Good luck my friend.
