Error message when accessing CD-R drive

I can't copy pictures from "My Pictures" to a CD-R disc.

After I highlight the picture I want to copy, and then
click on "Copy to CD", I get a message that says "copy
here, move here, or create short cuts here. I click on
copy here. I then go to My Computer, and double-click the
CD recording drive. Windows displays an error message -
"F:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function." instead of
a temporary area where the files are held before they are
copied to the CD.

This problem can be created by an older version of Roxio that many use for
copying music.
If you have Roxio, start it, click on help and on About.
A window will open giving the version you have. You should have at least 5.3
If not, go to the Roxio site and update to at least version 5.3
It can also be created when adding software for an external DVD burner. Same
here, update the software.
