Error message: The server is not configured for
transactions. I get this error message when trying to
browse my network. I have two box, both running Windows
2000 on dhcp.Please help....

Problem:
Error message: The server is not configured for transactions. I get this
error message when trying to browse my network. I have two box, both
running Windows 2000 on dhcp.

Cause:
Determine if the server is configured for File and Printer Sharing
optimization of "Minimize memory used." It would generally take 10 minutes
before the errors started to occur.
This could be the reason.

Resolution:
change the file and printer sharing setting to "maximize data throughput
for file sharing".
