The server is not configured for transactions

I keep getting this error message when trying to connect
to a server on another domain on my network. \\mailsrvr is
not available. The server is not available for
transactions. Please help.

That usually means that the IPC$ share is not working and may be an indication of a
virus. On that server try running "net share IPC$" to see if that helps. Otherwise
try uninstalling and reinstalling file and print sharing [not just disabling]. ---
