error message box when opening Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel

I am getting this this message box after I open Add/Remove
Programs:

Add/Remove Programs
An unexpexted error occurred

Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment
res://sp3res.dll/default.hta
Line:84

OK

I click OK or X. Then click on what I want to do. There
appears to be no problem.
Do I have a problem?
How do I get the error box to go away?

This behavior is known to have been caused in the past by spyware programs.
Try uninstalling any adware or browser add-ons.
