LarryH

I keep getting an error from time to time on my new system.

Exception EZERODIVIDE in module ASM1627h.dll at 0000231C.
Floating Point Division By Zero.

When I click OK the following error comes up:

Exception Eaccessviolation in Module VCL35.bpl at 0000714C.
Access Violation at address 4130714C in
module 'VCL35.bpl'. Read of address 00A010DC.

I then click OK and it goes away. It only comes up on
occasion.

System is Pentium 4 2.66mhz
512mb SDRAM
ASUS PC800 Mobo
ATI Radeon 9800XT 256mb Video card
Hercules Fortisimmo 7.1 Sound card

Anyone seen this before?

Hello Larry,

I have seen the VCL35.bpl error message associated with a virus before, so
it could be something along those lines. Try the following and see what if
the problem returns -

A) Go to Start\Run and type
MSCONFIG <OK>
B) In MSConfig, choose "Selective Startup"
C) Remove all check boxes EXCEPT System Services
D) Click the Services tab and check the box for “Hide all Microsoft
Services.” Then uncheck any remaining services listed.
Click okay and reboot to test.

Best regards,
