Hi When I try to open certain URL's, programs I receive the following error
message: Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Internet
explorer\iexplore.exe Abnormal Program termination I ran "sfc /scannow"
without any improvement. When I click "ok" to the error message the window
closes. I also receive the following error message when I open Asus Probe 2:
Access violation 3247476f in module cp3240 mt.dll write of address 00940000
Can anybody tell me what the problem is and how to correct it? Thanks
for your help. System: XP home edition IE 6 version
PS this problem seems to come and go

Runtime Library Microsoft Visual C++, Runtime Error Program
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe or Iexplore.exe, abnormal program termination.

also make sure you don't have both the Sun JRE and the Microsoft VM JIT
compiler enabled.

Hello Frank
Thanks for the information. I guess my real problem is I don't know what I'm
dealing with in regard to "MS visual c ++...etc. I checked out IE and found
that only Java (Sun) 2v1.4.2 -04 is selected. I looked at the website you
provided and I'm not sure how to handle the solution to the problem. To be
quite frank the more research I do the more confussed I become. The one
theread in all of this is that there is some connection between "Runtime
error" and "The access violation for the Asus Probe2" The probe still
functions except it no longer records. Thanks for you help.

Your machine likely has a faulty Browser Helper Object installed. If you
have XP and SP2, check the Manage Addons dialog box. Are any Browser
helpers installed?

If not, try scanning for adware/spyware. See the "tools" section on
www.microsoft.com/spyware for more info.

pc probe abnormal program termination

Hy! I'm Vlad and I have a asus p5n e sli motherboard and I get the same error abnormal program termination.

I tried to uninstall like the other guy said but it didn't work, I still get the stupid error.

In my case I think Pcprobe2 might not get along with Visual Studio 2008 who also does not allow me to put

my computer to hibernate - because i di not have enaugh memory and trust me I have plenty of it.

Did anyone experience this? I would apreciate any help possible.
