Error every time I come to Communities

"Windows Mail is unable to use Microsoft Cpmmunities features at this time.

I've also tried signing in, same thing.
Plus often I go to post and it just sits there and does nothing except
freeze. Then I have to end task and start over again.

Any ideas anyone?

Turn the Communities feature off: Tools, Options, uncheck
"Use newsgroup message rating feature."

While that might be good advice to people who wish NOT to use the
communities feature. But it doesn't address the problem people are having
with signing into communities.

Does anyone use "mymsn" as a home page? And if so does your hotmail show on
that page and error saying "Windows Live Hotmail or Hotmail is temporarily
unavailable through this site. Please go directly to www.hotmail.com to
access your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.:
