Error Code 1311

Recently purchased the Street Pilot Sat. Nav. bundled with
the Garmin and Mapsource software.

Original installation was trouble free. But since a fatal
HD crash and subsequent rebuild of Win XP Pro, I now get
Error 1311 when trying to re-install which informs me that
Install.exe is looking for "Data1.cab" which is correctly
installed on the Mapsource Disk 1. Some how, Install.exe
cannot "see" the data1.cab file on the mapsource disk 1
which is correctly inserted in my cd drive.

Various requests sent to Garmin were not very productive.

Just wondered if anybody else out there has had a similar
experience.

Hi, Copy the CD to your hard drive and then run the installer.
