Error "Can't connect to internet"

When are we going to get some kind of hotfix to fix the
problem with the updates. I've been all over the
discussion group site, and it seems there are alot of
people having the same problem that I am. I've tried
everything that has been suggested and nothing seems to
work. Microsoft, Please help us with our dilimma. I have
noticed that most of us have installed Counterspy, to run
along with Microsoft AntiSpyware. They are supposed to
work together. I don't think any of us want to uninstall
Counterspy. It works really well. Please advise us on
this problem, and how to correct it.

It appears to me that installing counterspy causes this issue. I beleive
I've seen a note stating that uninstalling counterspy fixed this on one
system. I don't have a different workaround to suggest, I'm afraid.
