Hello all,
After performing several updates that related to my Canon Powershot S230, I
notice that I am now getting system error messages coming up on the Event
Viewer Log.
The info. about the error is as follows:-
Product: Windows OS
ID: 7011
Source : Service Control Manager
Version: 5.0
Component:System Event Log
Symbolic Name: EVENT_TRANSACT_TIMEOUT
Message: Timeout(%1 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from
the %2 service.
The system gets frozen and when I restart and go to the event viewer I see
the error.
Invariably, if I try to set the events( i.e. in the scanners and cameras
folder).for connection of the camera while it is connected and powered up ,
the system hangs.Additionally , ZoomBrowser EX( photo organizing software)
will not open if the window that comes up on connection, which gives me the
choice of ZoomBrowser/ Scanners and Cameras, has the "always use this
program to perform this action" box checked in.
If you have advice or are having a similar problem I would like to hear from
you.
Thanks.
