When I try and connect to the internet using ADSL Sagem
Modem on a USB WAN interface I keep getting an error 720
message. It worked for two days before-hand.
I phoned my ISP who asked me to check my system, step-by-
step which I have done. I have also done a registry clean,
virus scan, w.32.blaster (and variants) scan and patch
download. I have also re-installed my Sagem Modem driver
several times to no avail and cleared my TCP/IP stack
using the netsh command at the dos prompt.
When I go to device manager, show hidden devices under the
NON PLUG N' PLAY devices at my TCP/IP driver I get a
yellow asterisk, the description says its corrupt, invalid
or doesn't exist. In my wisdom I removed this (DOH!!).
I then performed a hardware scan to try an install it with
no sucess. I can not find the driver in my drivers and
utilities CD.
Do I need to re-install windows to fix the fault?
