I've got a faculty member's laptop that suddenly cannot connect to our
Windows 2003 Server running VPN.
It connects, authenticates, then gives the error :
Error 720: A connection to the remote computer could not be established
The VPN server is working ok, other systems can connect to it.
The laptop connects correctly to the domain here, no problems, Web, Email
work fine, DNS is good, I can ping the server. This happens whether I use the
ethernet r wireless networking connection.
I've read:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=152605
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=314076
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=810979
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=811259
None seem to apply.
I've done
netsh reset ip
netsh reset winsock catalog
without effect.
Any more ideas?
