ERROR 2753

Cleaning up my computer, I am trying to get rid of a program, Virtual
Painter & am getting a message: ERROR 2753.adclean.exe. It will not let me
remove from Add\Remove & when I try the un-install that comes with it, it
gives me the repair option but that didn't do anything either.

Would sure appreciate it if anybody can tell me how to get ris of this darn
thing. grrrr,

From the desktop, try using 'Start' > then open 'Search'. Click on 'All Files
and Folders' and type in "Virtual Painter". Then click on 'search'. With any
luck everything's in one main program folder and it'll show up. Right click
on it. Left click on 'properties'. That'll tell you where the folder is
located. Write down the path. You should be able to navigate to it starting
at My Computer(C drive).

Once found, search it's contents for an 'uninstall' function. If not found,
try to delete to whole folder. If no luck, open the folder and start deleting
folders/files one at a time. There might be something in there that is used
system wide and is causing it to balk at uninstall. Otherwise you should be
able to delete anything there, including the main folder.

Good luck, Paul

Thanks but I did that. There is a folder for Virtual Painter with an
un-install. When I click that, it only gives me a repair option. Tried that
but got the same thing. I can't see where this program is even running as
there is nothing to click on to. I just noticed it in add\remove & wanted to
be rid of it. It may need some kind of un-installer

Thanks

The uninstall routine is always provided by the software author; Windows
is just the platform to launch that routine. If that uninstall routine
fails, contact the software manufacturer's tech support.
