Error 0x800710dd operation identifier not valid

Windows defender detected Downloader.AY but everytime I try to block it or
remove it, I get this error message. Can someone please tell me what to do
or why I am getting this message?

Run your updated antivirus and WD in safe mode.

Go to My computer, right click , Properties, Disk-Maintenance, Run, Other
Options, check delete old restore points (the last recent checkpoint remªins).
