Xersus, make sure that your D:\ drive (your recovery partition) is not
selected to be backed up and try again.

Hi Jill,

Thanks for responding quickly ,
I have checked backup settings , the backup drive is my hard drive ( thats
the first thing i checked).
I have also opened the recovery partition and ensured there are no backup
folders in that partition.
There is enough space on my external hdd as i suggested
I can send u a screenshot of the error message if you need it.

You didn't specifically mention that you deselected the D drive as a source,
so I want to ensure that you do this (sorry I wasn't clear earlier). You'll
need to run through the Backup wizard again to change your settings and
deselect D. Having it specified as a source is the issue. Specifying D as a
target is another issue altogether :)

Hi all,
Whenever i try to write on sectors using winhex in vista. It write on only
first 15 sectors and then if i try to write " An error occurred while
writing to Drive D:, Access is denied " come and it does not write on it. I
am running WinHex in admin mode then why it does not allow to write on it.
Is their any way by which i can get access write permission on my disk
drive.
Thank in advance
Nidhi
