Jerry

Hi,
When you goto Tools>Internet Options and click on delete cookies, files
and clear history it doesn't get rid of the history on the down arrow on
the "back button"...How do you clear that history?

Thanks in advance!

See ya...Jerry

Hi Jerry :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Tools>Internet Options>General tab
In the Number of days to keep History window, set it to zero

Then on General tab > Click the Clear History tab
Click Delete Files tab
Click Delete Cookies tab
Click Apply

or.....

History Eraser - Free

http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

and....

CCleaner

or

If you don't want any History kept, then do the following:

Disable Auto-complete

Auto Complete

http://helpbytes.co.uk/acomp.php

or..

Tools>Internet Options>Content tab>click Autocomplete
Uncheck all the boxes for features you don't want to use
Click Apply
Then OK

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

The history on the down arrow on the Back button appplies only to the
current session. It is cleared automatically when you exit IE.
