"Erase this CD-RW" - Not an Option I have anymore!

Help! I am trying to erase some discs so that I can put some new files on
them (somthing I do all the time), yet I am not given the option to do this.
They are all definitely re-writtable cds. Anyone able to help?

I've fixed it! All I had to do was go into the properties of the CD drive,
then choose the Recording tab, uncheck the enable cd recording button, apply,
ok and then I just went back and reticked the box and hey presto, it's
working perfectly! I've only wasted an hour and a half pulling my hair out
but I'm dead chuffed that I've fixed this one on my own. Who needs a
microsoft forum eh!!??
