Enable WindowsUpdate after Sp2

When SP2 was released I disabled WindowsUpdate for large number of
workstations.

Now I am deploying SP2, and want to enable WU as part of the deployment (I
was surprised that WU was not enabled as default).

I have tried to play with the update.inf, but then running update.exe
crashed.

Alternatively I can do it manually or a normal registry update afterwards,
but I really want to have it done just by running update.exe.

Good tips?

On a stand alone PC, you can toggle WU options in "Security Center."
You might take it from there.

I want to integrate Automatic Updates into the update.exe files.

I tried to play with au.inf and others, but doesn't work.

Hi

As far as I know, you will not be able to change the SP2 installation
to do this for you.

Create a batch file which does the necessary registry tweaks before it
launches update.exe.
