Enable/disable Javascript under IE 6

Under XP and IE 6, is there another way to enable/disable Javascript than
the one I'm used to? The method I use is to go to Tools > Internet Options
Advanced > Security > Allow Active Content to Run in Files on My
Computer. But I still seem to come across Javascript applications that
aren't allowed to run on my computer. Is there another way that I should
try?

Presumably this is a continuation of your posting 'Some Youtube videos
