Enable Javascript/cookies?

When I try to register at a trusted site, I get this
message:

"This site requires an Internet Explorer browser that
supports JavaScript and cookies.

Your browser either does not support JavaScript or cookies,
or it has JavaScript or cookies support disabled. If you
want to correctly view this site, please upgrade your
browser or enable JavaScript and cookies support."

I'm using W-2000/Pro, and IE-6. How can I adjust my
computer to do those things - at least long enough to
register at that site?

Thanks.

Hi CW,

When you visit the site there should be a Zones icon in the Status Bar
(enable the status bar - View>Status bar menu)

Double click on the Zones icon (it will have text next to it. ie...
Internet, Trusted Site etc.) - This will open up the Internet Options at the
Security tab with the current Security Zone for the site selected.

If you are already in the Trusted Zones just click on the Default Level
button... this will set the Zone security to Low and enable scripting and
cookies. You should already have this site in your Sites list for the
Trusted security Zone if you are here.

If you are in the Internet Security Zone either

1. Click on the Trusted Zones icon and then the Sites button and add the
current site to your Trusted Zone Sites list.

2. Click on the Custom Level.. button and find the options for Scripting and
also cookies. Adjust them as required. Close the Internet Options to save
your changes. Go back to internet explorer and refresh the page that you are
at (Ctrl+F5).... Do your stuff!
After you have finished..... DON'T FORGET to go back into Internet Options -
Security tab, and change your Internet Security Zone setting back to the way
they were. (just choose the Default level button should be sufficient)

Regards.

Many thanks. That seems to have taken care of the matter.
May all your own problems be solved so easily. Best
