Emails automatically disappearing

All,
When I receive a new email it will appear in my inbox for about 60
seconds and then magically disappear. I have sent various test emails
and each one does the same thing. Any thoughts?

Are you filtering your view to see only unread messages? If you have
autopreview on, this could be the issue. Click on View > Current View. Set it
to Messages so there are no filters on them.
If this is not the case, check rules. Perhaps you have rules set that are
moving the emails.

I suspect the following: you have the Reding Pane enabled and are viewing
the message in the Reading Pane, that you have the option to mark messages
in the Reading Pane as read after one minute, and that you have the "Unread
Messages" view selected.

Change your View to "Messages" or modify your Reading Pane options.

i guess you have configured outlook on some other computer and set mail
delivery to personal folders on that computer. therefore, your mails are
going to that pc
or
you might have some rules which are moving these messages to personal folders.
hope this helps...
