Messages disappearing from Inbox, Sent Items

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2002. I have two different profiles on one computer. In
both profiles, I have both the "Sent Items" and the "Inbox" set for "Do not
archive items in
this folder". For at least a couple years, my emails would stay in my inbox
and in the Sent Items folder indefinitely (until I decided to delete them).

Now, in one profile, emails are disappearing from the inbox (and not Sent
Items). I know I had emails in there that go back to 2002, but now the
oldest one is dated March 4, 2005. The Sent Items in this profile go all the
way back to 2002, as I would expect.

In the other profile, emails are disappearing from the Sent Items (and not
the Inbox). Again, I know I had emails in there that go back to 2002, but
now the oldest one is dated September 28,2005. The Inbox in this profile
goes all the way back to 2002, as I would expect.

This is very strange. Is there any reason other than "AutoArchive" why
emails would disappear from my inbox and sent items folders? Any suggestions
will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

I don't know of any reason. Have you examined the properties of each folder
to check its individual autoarchive setting?
