Email report in Snapshot format has XLS extension

After I run a report in Access I use Send To from the File
menu to email a report as an attachment in the Access
Snapshot format.
But when I do this the attachment to the email has a XLS
extension (for Excel) not (SNP for Snapshot).
When I open this attachment with Excel is it junk but if I
rename with a .SNP and open with SnaphotViewer it is fine.
I am using Access 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000.
Any help would be appreciated.

when you select File-Send To, in the pop-up window, MS
Excel is default, u forgot to change that to "Snapshot
Format"! its that simple!:)
