"(email)" appears alongside recipient name?

I just installed Outlook 2000 on my new laptop. I think I installed it
with the Exchange option (not sure if that helps decode this problem).

But I notice now that when I pick a "To" recipient from my contact
list, it says "(email)" next to each name, and actually sends that way?

How can I turn this off? I didn't have it in my last install.
