Email apears blank but is not?

Using Outlook 2002 I received an email from a freind. This was in the
Attachments area "For My dog loving friends (243 KB).msg (250KB). Anyway
the view window is blank. So I forwarded the email to an address I use with
Eudora by Qualcomm. In Eudora I could see the complete email.

Why can't I see it in Outlook 2002? Is there a setting I need to change?

Thanks

If I click "View Source" in the blank window this is what I get:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>

<META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1106" name=GENERATOR></HEAD>
<BODY id=role_body style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: #000000; FONT-FAMILY:
Arial"
bottomMargin=7 leftMargin=7 topMargin=7 rightMargin=7><FONT id=role_document
face=Arial color=#000000 size=2>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></FONT></BODY></HTML>

If you simply double-click on the Envelope icon of the attachment, it should
open the message.

I find this to be normal behavior when receiving forwarded messages from AOL
users. All other client apps seem to be able to embed the message
