Echo in MSN or Windows Messenger

I correspond using Audio/Video with MSN Messenger with a friend. We are both
using the same version of MSN Messenger or WM and we are both using
headphones. The problem I am having is that I am hearing an echo of my own
voice when we speak. I don't hear an echo of his voice and he has no echo at
all. He can hear me fine and I can hear him fine. We have both run the Audio
Tuning Wizard, but still the problem.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated as it is very annoying.
