DVD audio choppy

I have a pc with windows xp home edition . I use Media player9 to play
cd's and view movie clips on the internet with no problem, I tried to
play a James Tayler concert DVD today using Media Player. The video
was perfect but the sound was horrible . All Choppy . Does anyone know
what could cause this. My update feature for WMP says I have all the
updates and windows XP is updated . I do not know much about computers
so any help would be appreciated.Thanks Fran

I am having the same problem. Whats even more frustrating is I can't find an answer. If you get an answer, would you email me?

Do you have any other device for playing music ? Most likely it has
something to do with your sound device. Update or reinstall the driver, and
have another whack at it. Jym
