Drivers problems with Pack2

Hello,
since Windows XP Pack2 was installed on my dad's PC, he is unable to
connect his Digital Camera anymore (Cybershot DSC-P72) AND he can't use
his printer neither (Epson Stylus Color 740). i can't find any specific
driver for XP Pack2 on the net. The problem seems to be connected with
the Pack2 itself.
Is there anything i can try to make these hardware work on XP Pack2?

The drivers are written by the device mftrs. Go to the tech support
sites for Epson and the mftr. of your camera and look for updated
drivers there. A good workaround for the camera (and a better solution
than connecting the camera directly) is to buy a usb card reader
instead.

Are these both USB devices? If so, it's a USB problem not a driver problem.

yes, both USB devices! i even tried a joystick which doesn't work too.
All this use to work fine before the Pack2 update.

any tip?

In that case I would unplug the USB devices then go to Device Manager and uninstall the USB items, then reboot. Windows should detect and reinstall USB, and if all goes well the USB devices should work when plugged back in.
