Driver Update Fails After SP2 Installed

After installing XP SP2, windows update now tells me I have an driver update
for my NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600SE video card. However the install fails with
error 80070005 on 4 attempts to install it. There are additional messages
that the update procedure is unable to uninstall the current driver.

Any suggestions on how to fix that? (I am guessing that SP2 has an older
driver as there isn't a notification of the new driver before I installed
SP2.)

DO NOT update hardware drivers off the XP update website
Go to the manufacturers website to search for new drivers...download and install
from there.
The XP site is always behind
