downloading security patch for Blaster

Help - Have windows XP home edition. Have downloaded the
ave the Exe Patch for blaster however keep getting error
message when trying to run:
"WindowsXP-KB823980-x86-ENU.exe is not a valid Win32
application".

Tried getting a spanish version and saving but get same
error msg when trying to open and run file.

What am I doing wrong? Thnx.

Have you tried to install through Windows Update yet?
