download only audio and no video?

I'm trying to watch the Rep. debate now and it starts and stops. Is
there a way, in general or not, to stop downloading video and only dl
audio. I only really care about the audio.

I have low-speed DSL from Verizon.

XP-SP3.

I've tried both FF7 and I E 8.6001.18702

You could try this site : http://snipmp3.com/ - you would need to copy
and paste the URL (web address) of the video stream you are watching that
you just want the audio from, into the box provided on the site.

If successful, you would be able to download just an MP3 of the audio to
your HD.

Wow, you answered even before the debate was over. But I'd already
given up and turned off he computer. They said it woudl be about
economics and that stuff bores me anyhow.

Still, there will be a next time, maybe many, and if not debates,
soemthing even better, and this seems like it is just what I want.
