Double Scrolling

Sonney

After installing a recent security update, every time I
scroll down a page by clicking on the right-hand scroll
bar, it goes down TWO pages instead of one. I've tried
alot of things but can't seem to stop it. It doesn't
happen outside of Internet Explorer. HELP, PLEASE!! Thanks.

Microsoft knows about the problem, and it's associated with patch KB824145.
The only way to fix it right now is to uninstall the patch (labeled something
like "Internet Explorer KB824145", not with most of the other patches) using
the Add/Remove Software control panel.

I tried that. Can't find that patch in my list. I probably installed it as part of a larger package.
Not quite ready to start uninstalling packages at random...

Well, if MS knows about this problem, then why don't they
say something in public about it, like, when a fix for it
will be available? The only reason why they wouldn't must
be because this situation exposes some other security
flaw in IE that they don't want to talk about.
