This started today and for no apparent reason.
I have tried setting double click speed to its lowest but no effect
If I frantically left click on the shortcut it will eventually open.
It does it for all files / executables
Right click/file open works
doesn't seem to be hardware as single click works fine and reversing action
of mouse buttons is the same using the right button to double click.
have tried system restores to earlier times when i knew it was working and
have reinstalled mouse drivers (removing old one first)
Help please - going nuts!
