Doesnt ask for Password

I have a split database. I have correctly established the user names and
passwords i want for my users but when i try to log into the FE with another
user it doesnt ask for a pass word just goes straight to the first screen.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Follow Arvin's advice. It's EASY to do workgroup security wrong!

My guess is that you either left the default Admin user with a blank password,
and/or that the Users group still has permissions to the database. My usual
advice is to download and print out the security whitepaper; study it
CAREFULLY. Get a good night's sleep. Read the whitepaper, *again*, even more
carefully. Back up your database (this is *CRITICAL*!!!) and go through the
steps in the whitepaper, marking each one off on your paper copy. If you
understand the steps and follow them all, you should be ok.

now do i have to establish the security permissions and passwords for both my
FE and BE?
