Does anybody on Planet Earth know the answer to this question????

Robyn

Why would I out of the blue lose my permissions in
FrontPage. Meaning one day I can edit all of my websites
the next day I receive no password box and it tells me I
do not have permission to edit. I am logged on as an
administrator. This has happened 3 times in 3 months. I
can create a new user profile and use it fine. In the
registery it shows that I have all permission, but, I
obviously don't. I am beyond frustration. Please help.

Thanks, Robyn

Hi Robyn,

You have posted this quite a few times, and did post back
to my reply once. But you did not answer a few questions
I had asked in order to help me narrow this down.

So, in absence of info, as a guess, something has zapped the
files that the Front Page server extensions (I an assuming
version 2002, as that is one of the questions you did not
answer, and each version has done things differently). use
to keep track of authorship , FP admin, etc roles.
These are of all places at
documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft\web server
extensions\50
