Documents Folder

The folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents
is not accessable - and I can not change the settings.
Installation of some applications - Pinnacle Studio 8 for
instance - requires access to that folder.

How can the attributes of that folder be changed?

are you an administrator of the pc? If you only have
limited rights, you will have to speak to whomever is the
admin so that they can give you rights.
The more info you give the better we can try to help.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I am the administrator of the PC. I changed the view
options so I could see hidden and system files and
folders - which I can. Now the documents folder is not
visible - but when trying to create one or install the
application it complains it still exists and is not
accessable. ??? Id there a way to get more control as an
administrator?

I do not believe that you can create a folder under
all_users, this is a system folder, there is however a
shared doc folder that all can access. My suggestion is to
go to the SW website and search there knowledge base an
contact them since it is there software.
