Display Problems

I've just installed windows XP Prof. and I cannot get my
screen resolution beyond 460*600 24 bit.

I have a Smile Technologies monitor KFC CA-6415DS and the
display adapter is SiS 5598/6326.

I've treid updating the driver to no avail.

Any advice to to get me to at least 600*800 16 bit would
be appreciated.

You will have to figure out how to install the latest video and monitor
drivers as they are the main items impacting the display. I didn't know SiS
made video cards. Is your built in? Check the SiS web site for possible
driver updates for the chipset.

You can try these drivers:

I did not find XP specific drivers and this is because XP is supposed to
have the drivers for this device already. Try removing the Display
Adapter from Device Manager (Start-Run-devmgmt.msc) and reboot.
