Display of Master/Layout Graphic in Theme Thumbnail

For numerous weeks of developing a PPT 2007 template, a shape I have on the
Title Slide Layout in the master also appeared in the Theme Thumbnail. In
working to resolve unrelated issues, I have some how changed a setting which
keeps the shape from appearing in the Thumbnail. This makes the specific
Theme which the Thumbnail represents difficult to identify. Can anyone advise
on what must be true for the shape to appear on the Thumbnail as before?

I seem to recall a bug where, if you add a placeholder to the Title Layout,
the preview is not right. I thought it made the preview a RedX, but I cannot
remember for sure. Did you add a placeholder to the Title Layout?
