Display line by line

I have seen some presentation that it displays line by line in a slide. The
new line is clear but all previous lines become off-focus. Can someone
advise how to create such effect in powerpoint 2003.

Once you have an animation, click on the drop down arrow beside the
animation, change the Text Animation to By Paragraphs and change the Effects
to have the paragraph change color. You could also intersperse exit
animations if you want. Experiment for yourself.
